“Purification during practice is like washing clothes, when the clothes are there, they look very clean and nice, but when we wash them, dirt will come out. Similarly, when we practice, difficult emotions and sickness will be pushed out. Without washing, we don’t know the clothes are dirty, without practice, we don’t know how much garbage we carry with us.”
